Sportswear as business segment is becoming very important and with the recent restructuring this area is the biggest Netsales driver within adidas. We create products for the Consumer segment between performance and fashion. While the job has not changed the priorities and projects did. Digital and sustainability are within the core of the area. Fit, comfort and perception are additions to the portfolio. Speed and agile way of working are fundamental for the business and for my job. Leading and managing the Individual Sports Men's apparel operations team, including the Business Unit of Running, Training, Core and Sportswear as well as being the lead of the Materials Team across all divisions within Individual Sports. My team is working in close collaboration with the pattern, costing, planning, marketing and design teams internally as well as the Liason Office and supplier. Supervising the teams and implementing the company strategy to fulfil the company goals. especially sustainability goals in the material and development areas as well as the digital creation as an End to end construct within the company. Ensure full understanding of process and calendar within the team. Working on allocation strategy and business updated for business partners.
Back in the Headquarter I’ll be leading the Individual Sports BU for Development of Apparel and Accessoires and Gear. Representing the department inside and outside of adidas is on the agenda as well as driving projects to bring great products to market. Training, mentoring and work with the team members is one of the priorities. The main tasks remain the same in regards to allocation and process /calendar optimization. The product palette contains accessories and apparel for adidas.
