Vantaa site is one of the biggest site of HKScan. Over 800 food production and logistics workers work daily on this site. The Factory produces processed meat products almost 50 million kilos annually. Product gategories are divided to many segments like sausages, liver sausage, cold cuts, minced meat, salami, ready meals and sous vide products. I joined to the Team right after pandemic. My predessasor was allready left and Factory performance was going down. My main task was to bring the Factory back on right track. During my time we renewed seraveral things. Starting from the vision to the daily management system everything was rethinked. Management team was remanned and whole orginasation was setted up again. We went througt very difficult times when Russia started war with Ukrainia and energy prices jumped up. But finally we managed turn performance up again and Factory profitability improved sicnificantly. We also created solid plans to years ahead to ensure success also in the future.
Our vision is to able to produce together with our customers renewable energy as much as one nuclear plant! - We will reach that target in 2030! We care about the planet earth and we want it to be better place to live - also tomorrow. Our solutions provides energy and environment friendly ways to improve your economical performance. My own role is to help these higly skilled professionals to reach their targets. I'm responsible for operations and I co-operate very closely with CEO. My main tasks are to increase our revenue and profit rate. I'm continuously creating strategies and implementing tools to ensure our successful journey today and in the future. During my time in this role our revenue increased from 26,2 million euros to 49,7 million euros. At the same time we managed to improve our profit rate from 3,2% to 11,2%
I was guiding Panda factory towards better results everyday. Together with my management team we were continuously improving our safety, quality and service level. By reducing cost and investing in the right places we ensured that we would were competitive also in the future. We were actively deploying Lean-tools and supporting continuous improvement culture. With the support of my team ( 200 blue collar & 30 white collar) We managed to beat all the records existing in company history (100 years). Together we did the best annual profit, the best quality results and the best service level. We also reached over 600 days without accidents in the Factory.
Responsible for Minced Meat, Ready Meals, Salami, Liver Sausage, Cold Cuts and Sous Vide production. Team in total: 7 white collar and 150 blue collar. Quality, Volume, OTD, People, Cost and Continuous Improvement.
