In search to contribute in projects with both economic and societal purposes, Philippe is looking to support a team that could benefit from his varied experiences in the corporate world. Philippe retired as member of the Solvay Global Facility Management Team. As business development manager, Philippe extracted value from released building spaces. Philippe partnered with multiple private and institutional stakeholders to develop the master plan for a large campus. He also negotiated service contracts with multiple small and large companies on several sites. From 2009 to 2015, Philippe joined the platform “Renewable based Chemistry”. Program Manager, Philippe successfully transferred several corporate research projects at the business unit level. Philippe also assessed the value of companies and new business opportunities in the context of possible acquisitions or partnerships. In his previous assignment as International Purchasing Manager, Philippe contributed in the creation and development of the global SOLVAY purchasing organisation, leading the development of a management guidance system. He also led an international buyers’ team for the negotiation and purchase of intellectual services on a global basis (spent > 0,5 BEUR). Prior to this, Philippe was a Marketing Manager responding to the General Manager of the Peroxide business. With the support and knowledge of multiple technical and commercial executives, Philippe developed a decision tool based on market and competitive intelligence. As Business Manager for Peroxygen Biocides, Philippe led and animated a team of business developers, launching 2 new products and growing sales by 40 % in two years. Philippe joined Solvay as research manager, developing the application of the company’s bleaching technologies, so contributing to the company’s leadership. Philippe is secretary of Oxygen Triathlon, practice mountaineering (Belgian Alpine Club) and is an active member of an investment club. Philippe is Doctor in Sciences (University of Mons – Belgium) and holds a post-graduate in Business Administration (ULB-SBS-CEPAC-Belgium).
