Seasoned life sciences executive with 15+ years of global experience driving innovation, growth, and operational excellence across biotechnology and genomics. Currently serving as Head of Life Sciences and Site Leader at Hologic Liège, I lead a multinational business franchise with teams across Europe, the U.S., Japan, and China. I hold full P&L responsibility and oversee strategic execution across commercial, technical (R&D), and operational domains. As Site Leader, I’m responsible for a 100-person campus, guiding both direct reports and cross-functional teams through a matrixed leadership model. I foster a culture of engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement—bridging global strategy with local execution to deliver results and strengthen organizational cohesion. Previously, I held senior roles at QIAGEN and Diagenode, where I led product portfolios, expanded international markets, and built strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders. My scientific background in molecular biology and epigenomics, combined with executive training from Harvard Business School, enables me to navigate complex scientific and business landscapes with agility and purpose. Fluent in five languages and deeply committed to advancing health innovation, I thrive at the intersection of science, strategy, and leadership.
As Head of the Life Sciences franchise at Hologic, I lead global strategy, operations, and performance across key markets in Europe, the U.S., Japan, and China. I oversee a team of 80+ professionals and hold full P&L ownership, driving innovation across commercial, technical (R&D), and organizational domains. In parallel, I serve as Site Leader for Hologic Liège, representing the local executive presence for a 100-person campus. My leadership spans direct and matrixed teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration and site-wide engagement. I ensure operational excellence across facilities, EH&S, security, and talent development—bridging global vision with local execution to enable business growth and cultural cohesion.
I drove global strategy for QIAGEN’s Genomic Services portfolio, leading market modeling, performance monitoring, and roadmap development—both organic and inorganic. I oversaw product development from customer requirements to beta testing networks, and managed go-to-market execution including campaigns, technical content, and training. I supported strategic sales opportunities, contributed to due diligence efforts, and continuously improved operational processes.
Managed a team of seven specialists delivering end-to-end epigenomic services—from sample processing to NGS and bioinformatics. I implemented collaborative project tools that doubled service capacity, streamlined quoting with sales, and worked closely with marketing to enhance service competitiveness.
Based in the U.S., I coached new account managers for rapid onboarding, built a strong network of key opinion leaders, and identified emerging technologies. I served as informal lead for junior product managers and ensured seamless cross-continental communication between U.S. and European teams.
Led product development and launches, coordinated global marketing plans, and provided strategic input on sales tactics and competitive intelligence. I conducted international sales trainings and played a key role in ERP implementation for marketing and product data management.
