I am currently a Lecturer in the CSE Teaching Team (CSETT) within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS). Amongst other activities I am currently involved in the teaching of several Bachelor Courses within the Bachelor Computer Science and Engineering (CSE): - CSE1100 Object-oriented Programming - CSE2000 Software Project - CSE2520 Big Data Processing - CSE2530 Computational Intelligence
I have been head teaching assistant (TA) for three different courses in the bachelor curriculum computer science & engineering (Object-oriented Programming, Logic Based AI & Project Multi Agent Systems). In this role I have been responsible for planning lab sessions, chairing team meetings, managing other TA’s, and communicating concerns with the teachers of the courses. Furthermore, I have developed and improved lab exercises and exam questions.
I have been TA for six different courses, related to software engineering and AI, in the bachelor curriculum of computer science & engineering to date. As TA I assist students with their assignments or guide them through group projects.
As owner and only employee of my own company I do contract based work for several clients. This can vary from simple computer assistance for an elderly person to building a large websites for a company to end-user training.
As voice server manager I am responsible for the Discord (formerly TeamSpeak 3) voice server from ECV eSports. This includes, making sure the server is functioning correctly, monitoring activity, creating / managing channels and making sure the whole user interface is comprehensible.
As ICT consultant I contribute to the user training and guidance in YNNO project teams. In my work as consultant work I act as a linking pin between technology and users, in order to enable users to use new technology successfully and smoothly.
As lead web developer I am responsible for everything regarding web development. In this position I make use of my knowledge of HTML,CSS, PHP, Javascript, SQL, and several CMS systems. Apart from just creating and editing web content I am also involved with (web) design and the training of interns and junior web developers.
