Frontier VFX for NetFX. Part of the Outpost VFX group. This was a dual global role • Created and developed the recruitment model/strategy to supply the Netflix VFX platform NetFX with remote/in house artists - Short term contracts • Key stakeholder in the marketing and brand launch • Developed and maintained a NetFX talent database / ATS • Refined interview techniques for hiring managers with performance metrics and analytics • Mentored the junior recruitment team on candidate pre-selection for showreel review techniques
I left this role in Sept 2020 due to Covid impacted redundancy. • Involved with the full cycle recruitment process for all VFX artists, Supervisors, Production and Heads of Departments • Implemented head hunting strategies for key hires • Created recruitment plans to grow Outpost in UK and Montreal • Close working relationship with production teams ensuring crew were resourced ahead of shows • Developed talent within the company to identify areas of skills under utilised via a global skills matrix • Attended industry events and frequently presented, guest paneled and judged • Mentored and trained a dedicated recruitment team • Worked with the Head of HR on annual recruitment and talent budget • Project based team for creating an internal training platform • Active member of Access VFX to promote inclusion and diversity in the industry

• Recruited artists for the CGI department working closely with production on crewing needs across the fast paced Commercials department. • Occasional recruitment for Aardman features (Early Man, Shaun the Sheep, Chicken Run 2) and the Digital (gaming) arm of the company when needed • Built relationships for Bristol based Animation and VFX companies to reverse recruit • Sourced talent and interns from European schools (The Animation Workshop, ESMA and Gobelins) • Refined CGI Internship programme • Held regular presentations on Showreel prep for Aardman Academy students, Alumni and visiting groups including the Beijing Film School.
