  • Footwear Designer at nike shoes
    Dec 1990 - Jun 1992 · 1 yr 7 mos

I was employed for NIKE to design, research, and develop peak performance shoes for the following categories; Cross training, Tennis, Volleyball, Aqua Gear, International and Outdoors collection. During my tenure; I worked closely with marketing and developing managers, to insure that the collection lines were on schedule for market launch dates. Under my supervision, NIKE introduced the new Men and Women Volleyball collections. As a result, both collections successfully reached yearly sales of 20 million U.S. dollars. I proposed a program of sustainable design principles, investing into recyclable materials for future products. In addition, prototyped models for NIKE's advance product development and researched into an athlete's dynamic movements under physical forces.
