Kasper Hauschultz Hansen is a Danish architect, who, for the last +20 years, has been working across Europe for several of the industry’s leading Design firms. Kasper is by nature a 'Bridge Builder', connecting the right people, businesses and clients with each other to create opportunities for all, with a clear focus on delivering outstanding projects for his clients. As such, Kasper has a prime focus on Business Development in his current role within the AECOM organization, where he is part of the pan European growth group looking to bolster and expand the AECOM brand across the Europe region and beyond. Before becoming Head of Architecture at AECOM Benelux, he worked in other senior roles with the offices of KCAP in Rotterdam, Herzog & de Meuron in Basel and Foster+Partners in London, as well as other well-renowned offices in the Netherlands. Kasper holds a Masters degree in Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences from Delft University of Technology in Holland. Furthermore, he is a registered architect in the Dutch and Danish registers of architects. As a Principal Architect and Senior Project Manager, Kasper has extensive experience in leading architectural design teams from the initial brief of a client through to the completion of a project. His project experience covers all project ranges but has primarily been focused on large scale commercial and public projects. Over the years, the projects he has been involved with have won several awards. In addition to his design skills, he has, over the last 15 years, developed an extensive experience in coordinating complex building projects across all disciplines. Through the years, this has provided him with a thorough knowledge of building codes and regulations, as well as an extensive hands-on practical technical knowledge. In the last 10 years of his career, his focus has shifted from single project management to a team leading position. As such a lot of his focus has lied with business development, team management, team building, team coaching and talent acquisition. On a regular basis Kasper mentors young architects to achieve their professional accreditations. Besides his work with AECOM, Kasper runs his own office DKNLarchitects that focuses on architecture and project development.
