In the role of operations excellence manager I am responsible for the Lean program, continuous improvement, health & safety, IT department, Facility, Business support, the local ERP team and quality (ISO 9001, ISO14001 OHSAS 18001). I work on different projects as implementation of new CEVA customers.
Deployment of the Caterpillar CPS LEAN methodology in the Breda (Netherlands) and Herne (Germany) warehouses. Continuous improvement, chase waste, safety first and sustainability are key words. Coach/changemanager in rapid improvement projects (5 day projects). Embed the CPS methodology in both warehouse culture using the CPS (lean) tools.
Working as a 6 Sigma BB within the Caterpillar business. Dedicated BB for Breda warehouse. Working on projects that increase safety, increase quality, increase productivity and decrease costs.
General supervisor operations in automotive parts distribution warehouse. Managing, coaching and supervising 1 shift with 4 direct reports (operations supervisors) and 85 indirect reports (teamleaders and teammembers).

Responsible for entire operations within the company. Challenging job in a very hectic environment. 3 direct reports (planners) and 45 (contracted) teammembers. Fleet of appr. 20 trucks. Day to day business could change from 45 - 150 teammembers (temps).
