Heading up Global Commercial. Overall responsibility for the global Brand and Partner Management structure. Lead the strategic partner management process with Basilea’s license & distribution partners, in order to fully maximize the global commercial potential of the various partnerships. Oversee and manage key deliverables in order to ensure that the short and long term revenue opportunities are maximized to achieve Basilea’s commercial targets. Lead the overall partner business review process. Heading up Global Marketing Operations. Oversee the global brand stewardship process for the Basilea products. Reporting into the CEO. Responsible for providing strategic guidance, driving strategic market development and aligning functional initiatives within the area of Marketing across International Operations. On a global level, representing International Operations in key strategic global boards in the areas of Diabetes, Obesity and BioPharm. Region International Operations covers Novo Nordisk affiliates in a vast part of the world, which includes Latin & South America, the Middle East, Africa, Russia and Asia (excluding Japan & China). Region International Operations covers 4.6 billion people in the world divided on 153 countries (+2 billion USD annual revenue; +5000 total workforce spread across 5 continents).
