Worked with EPA Remedial Project Managers and OSCs. Manage local office as needed. Interview and hire new personnel, conduct 40 & 8 hour HAZWOPER training classes for new hires. Assist chemical manufacturer with business continuity planning and recovery with production and IT systems. Some examples of projects are below. • Electrical Resistance Heating project for Soils with chlorinated solvents in FL completed under budget. • Execution of bio-remediation project for treatment of chlorinated solvents. • Gold King Mine Release (Durango/Silverton, CO): Served as Group Supervisor managing water distribution to households and businesses in area, developed water treatment methods at mine location. • Poultry influenza response (Iowa): Managed crew of 100 cleaning, chicken coops and implementing methods of cleaning meeting Department of Agriculture objectives. • Kirby Inland Marine oil spill (Matagorda TX): Managed all on-water boat activities ensuring location of all personnel on project and vessel location. • Hurricane Response (USVI, NC) Managed multiple size crews working for USEPA recovery of household chemical and environmental sensitive waste streams, arranging logistics, liaison with other Federal agencies as requested.
