Led global Marketing & Sales Excellence at SICK, driving the transformation towards stronger customer orientation and closer alignment with business clusters. Established key capabilities in digital marketing, including Marketing Automation (Lead2Success), and advanced global campaign and product launch excellence. Drove cross-functional End-to-End collaboration between Product Management, Marketing and Sales, improving go-to-market effectiveness. Initiated and scaled new global formats such as SICK Solution World and Hackathons, strengthening brand awareness and reaching new target groups. Built and structured a global marketing organization across multiple specialized teams, creating a scalable and efficient foundation for future growth.
Led Product Management, Marketing & Sales for SICK’s Small & Compact Sensors portfolio, covering core photoelectric sensor ranges (W9–W45) representing a significant share of the business. Managed and developed a team of 5 Product Managers, driving key product lines including W16/W26, PowerProx, and G10, as well as the evolution of IO-Link-enabled sensors. Responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle management, including portfolio strategy, market introduction, and global go-to-market execution. Led key initiatives such as the development of the Application Selector (GUI), improving customer access and product selection. Combined technical depth with market-driven innovation, contributing to SICK’s leadership in photoelectric sensing.
Responsible for direct and distribution sales, tripling business within 3 year via: -Focus on central valley packaging companies -Building a strong relationship with the distributors in Fresno, Sacramento, San Francisco and Healdsburg -Working with Industry management in germany to develop miniature sensors -Focusing on taylored application for Ports(Oakland, Long Beach)
Responsible for sensor and PLC sales growth in Silicon Valley with a focus on OEMs such as Applied Materials, KLA-Tencor and LAM Research. -Assisted in the set up of the Northern California Keyence Branch -Responsible for Fiberoptics, Photoelectric and PLC products -Conducted in-house seminars on ladder logic -Averaged 15 sales calls/week -90% of sales calls a direct result of cold calling -Worked with engineers from japan to develop new products for the semi industry.
Assisted the sale of gas mass flow transmitters to power plants. Based on diameter and other aspects of the stack, calculated the needed product configuration.
