I am a strategic, analytical, and innovative workplace experience manager who has worked with 100+ global offices to optimize the space and culture for each location. I have led the modernization and transformation of an office in Taiwan, restructured global real estate portfolios that have saved an organization $2M+ annually, and consolidated offices to integrate staff and save operating costs. My background in facilities management and real estate transactions has set the foundation for a successful career in managing the workspaces of a global organization. In my role as Head of Workplace Services with Logitech, I have led all services for 9,000 employees across 90 offices worldwide and managed a capital budget of $9.7M. I initiated and led the transition from in-house to hybrid work and played a key role in managing changes to the office environment during the COVID-19 pandemic. During my time with Logitech, I have seen a 2000% increase in our China portfolio and have successfully restructured three distinct areas of the organization. Lead the workplace services for 90+ global offices with a total of 53,000 square meters of space and $9.7M in capital. Manage a team of 35, including seven direct reports. ● Initiated and currently manage the company-wide transition to a hybrid work model; transform offices into a new concept as an employee and customer destination as each lease expires, which has increased staff morale and collaboration ● Provided leadership and guidance for workplace services during the COVID-19 pandemic, including office closures, access control to office space for special projects, staff health and safety, PPE equipment procurement, and return-to-work processes
Managed the leases for 80 offices and 71,000 square meters of space for the global portfolio. Provided guidance on lease negotiations and ensured optimal financial performance of the portfolio. Managed $15M in capital projects. ● Consolidated two buildings into one in Silicon Valley campus, resulting in a savings of $1.2M annually ● Integrated new offices and organizations to the portfolio through acquisitions and mergers ● Developed the global standardization for access control, which has successfully been implemented in multiple locations and is currently being rolled out through the rest of the organization
Led the real estate and facilities team and managed 69 leases, 40,000 square meters of space, and a budget of $11M. Established strategies and recommendations to maximize value of offices and facilities services. ● Consolidated two Swiss offices into one through a two-step approach combining corporate and engineering staff; transferred one lease to another party following a complex three-party negotiation process ● Led the renovation and modernization of Taiwan office space ● Grew the China portfolio from two to 25 offices, which allowed organization to establish a strong presence throughout the region and provided broader market penetration
