Using a combination of PHP and Genero 4GL, I created an infrastructure to streamline the integration of outside "marketplaces" such as Amazon.com, Ebay, Staples.com. This infrastructure also integrated with custom and standard applications used by our very large corporate accounts. The system could handle input and outputs from any source or format including XML, Rest API's, CSV, FTP or cXML punchout. The system was setup to provide inventory and product information to 3rd parties, automatically process incoming orders and handle order exceptions and acknowledgements. It would also send out shipment notifications and handle product returns. Main duties and accomplishments: •Built user interface to allow key users to view current product listings and inventory levels across all integrated marketplaces. This interface allowed easy management of products, pricing, shipping requirements and any marketplace details •Worked with tech teams from all marketplaces to coordinate development using any available APi's, testing and deployment. •Coordinated with internal company employees and executives, as well as external technical support teams for testing and deployment. •Developed and maintained background jobs to make sure inventory levels and order information is being updated smoothly and in real-time.
