We work on structure, readiness and capital mobilisation so promising blue economy opportunities can move from concept to finance-ready transactions. Our work focuses on pipeline diagnostics, project preparation sequencing, blended finance and facility design, governance and risk architecture, and the practical conditions investors need in order to underwrite. We help clients identify structural gaps early, prioritise the right preparation steps, and strengthen the pipeline, capital stack and decision logic needed to crowd in private capital.
I support the design and implementation of the Sustainable Blue Economy finance pillar of the EU funded West Africa Sustainable Ocean Program (WASOP), working with Expertise France and regional partners to improve access to finance for ocean projects in 13 ECOWAS coastal countries. My work focuses on the Blue Facility ($17M), a Call for Projects ($5M) and a practitioner network that help move concrete public and private initiatives from early concept to bankable blue economy investments.
Blue Invest is a E.U. initiative launched in 2019 to accelerate new ocean-based technologies and solutions to unlock innovation and investment opportunities in the sustainable blue economy. BlueInvest works closely with start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises, scale-ups, investors and stakeholders in the blue economy. BlueInvest also works with investors to discover blue economy investment opportunities and develop fundraising and investment strategies to leverage them.
PROCARIBE+ is a regional initiative of the United Nations focused on strengthening ocean governance and sustainable blue economy development in the Wider Caribbean. It brings together governments, intergovernmental organizations, and stakeholders to enhance marine conservation, improve policy alignment, and drive investment in nature-based solutions. Through collaborative action, PROCARIBE+ aims to protect marine ecosystems while supporting economic resilience and climate adaptation across the region.
