Over 20 years of extensive experience in the chemical and air gas industry, focused on delivering operational excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement, managing large-scale projects, and ensuring robust risk/compliance management. Successfully managed complex production sites and leading significant European-wide transformation and efficiency programs. My experience includes the realisation of world-scale production facilities, overseeing projects from the initial business request through to first industrial production.
- Leading the Efficiency Program for Large Industries in Central Europe. Identifying and developing projects to increase operational income and reduce CO2 emissions. Driving the full project’s lifecycles including securing resources and financial approval, monitoring execution and closing the loop after completion. - Leading the transition program for production sites, shifting from 24/7 on-site attendance to unmanned operations with centralized remote monitoring.
Responsible for the overall management of a facility that produces liquid and gaseous air gases. Directing all activities to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation. Key duties include leading and developing a multi-disciplinary team, optimizing production processes, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
First boots on the ground in Ras Laffan (Qatar) to secure land, water and power supply for 2 ASU’s and a POX plant to produce O2, N2, H2, CO & steam. Principal contact with authorities, customer, engineering and construction teams, local site and external companies for the realisation of 3 worldscale production units in Ras Laffan.
Seconded to GASAL per March 2013. BD and EPC preparation for large chemical project in Qatar.
