Manager of the Acquisition Systems Engineering Team of Cenco Europe and Head of DACS Technical Committee for Cenco International. My team : - is composed of more than 20 people composed of Engineers, Technicians, IT developers, Electricians, Automation Engineers, Field engineers, Instrumentation specialists, Contractors. - develops a Data Acquisition and Control System called CYRES (Successor of previous systems as MCC, CYRES.MP, CERES,...) - supplies DACS systems in Testing Facilities for diverse Aero Engine applications like Maintenance, Production and Development. My work can be seen as providing: - Team management to allow every individuals of my team to move forward the fulfillment of the Goal : "Personal growth in a team, achieving nice products and projects, bringing success for our company" - Engineering process follow-up, guidelines and formal procedures to ensure Quality of our realizations - Definition and engagement of the R&D process upon the 3 different axis: Short Term needs; Mid-Term 5 year plan, Strategy to reach the Vision of the Future - Assignation of team members for Project Managers and coaching them during all project phases - Support to customers, understanding and trying to anticipate their concerns by a solution driven philosophy - Coordination with counterparts in Cenco US as Head of DACS technical Committee on a joined plan - Technical Support to Sales Department to supply technical proposals, demonstrations and prototypes - A personal experience in the "International" aspect in relation with specifics as social, language, contractual, availability,... that my work showed me in the last 20 years in major international companies.
The role of the committee is to pilot Cenco's Data Acquisition and Control System (DACS) evolution for all for all Cenco International entities in terms of developments, proposals, and projects. The Committee make sure that proper training, practices, and competency levels are present in the teams, and it also has an oversight on legacy DACS product maintenance.
