ADG Legal is a full-service law firm, based in the UAE, but with offices overseas andwith a strong focus on Africa as well as the Gulf. ADG Advisory helps businesses set up and expand in the Middle East and Africa. Rather than be a corporate services provider (we work with a number of them) we provide strategic and practical advice, helping with everything from finding a local partner to identifying potential sites for a new facility. Our advisory and law firms work together seamlessly to deliver commercial solutions for clients. Although my background is in managing complex disputes and investigations, I advise on a range of non-contentious matters. In particular, we work with clients either looking to expand into new markets or bringing new businesses into their markets. I use my extensive regional experience and relationships across MEA to meet client needs. As those needs require, we then bring in specialist counsel from leading firms internationally, drawing on our Global network. I have worked in a wide range of fields, and in particular: - financial services and investment matters - real estate - corruption investigations and recovery claims - energy - general commercial disputes The majority of the disputes I have handled have ended with a commercial settlement between the parties (with wins in the majority of those that did not). Wherever possible, I seek to avoid litigation and help clients find a business-like solution to their issues.
