I am a strong evangelist for mobile access, mobile payments, mobile/omni-channel marketing, efficient & secured access and payment infrastructure, strong user authentication, and multiple technologies including NFC, Contactless, Tokenization and BLE! From 2005-2013 I built the contactless payments business for ViVOtech in EMEA and started the journey to make a mobile device become a viable payment media for contactless payments in the region. Paved the road for NFC mobile payments through shipping thousands of NFC Point-of-Sale readers to merchants in EMEA, and driving more than a dozen field trials of NFC mobile payments, coupons and loyalty. In addition during this time I successfully built up the ViVOtech (and subsequently Sequent) Trusted Services Manager business for the secure over-the-air deployments mobile credentials in the EMEA region single handed. Taking on the responsibility for business development of Mobile Trusted Services at LEGIC has meant that I can re-use my experience from the mobile payment space for the equally security conscious mobile access market globally.
