As Channel Manager for IBM at Arrow ECS, I collaborate with partners to leverage the newest IBM technologies, empowering them to enhance their client offerings through advanced hybrid cloud and AI capabilities. With over three decades in IT, including expertise in sales cycle management and AI enablement, I focus on fostering strong collaborations that drive growth and innovation in IBM's ecosystem. My mission is to advance ethical AI adoption while aligning with the evolving demands of hybrid cloud and data analytics technologies.
In my role as a Business Partner Specialist for Data & AI at IBM, I work closely with our business partners to leverage the watsonx platform and solutions, enabling them to enhance the value they provide to their clients. By analyzing data and AI trends, I am able to customize solutions to meet the specific needs of each partner. Additionally, I conduct training sessions to ensure our partners are equipped with the knowledge and skills to maximize the benefits of the platform.
I was looking for new business partners who bring solutions to the market and where the partner and IBM can strengthen each others' offerings.
I was in charge of a number of major accounts, mainly in the financial services sector such as Euronext, Dexia (now Belfius), De Vaderlandsche (now ING), BKCP,... He helped this institutionts to start to exploit the Internet as part of their communications and sales strategy.
I was in charge of the new digital presence on the Internet of a number of major Belgian institutions and companies, such Brussels Stock Exchange, Vacature, BKCP bank, Dexia Bank. With the team, we made sure their websites became interactive and attractive in time, in budget and high quality.
I lead the successful Home'Bank project for ABN AMRO bank between 1993 and 1995. During this time, we developed an advanced personal banking and investment application with a graphical DOS interface. Clients were not only able to consult their statements and transfer money. They also had the possibility to classify their expenses and keep track of their budgets. Next to that, they were able to make investments, even in advanced products such as options. This application was a huge success for ABN AMRO and had 70.000 active clients which was exceptional in that period.
