Served over seven years as independent non-executive Board Director − Accompanied the fund raising of Xenon PE’s 7thfund of 270 m EUR capital in 2019, its first SmallCap fund (RAIF) of 70 m EUR capital in 2020 and its ESG fund FIDEC of EUR 70 m in 2022 − Challenged the Executive C-Level Management in all its initial as well as add-on investment decisions since 2018 − Supervised Xenon PE’s valuation methodology and its application throughout the various investments
TKAT is supplying forming tools and assembly systems to the automotive industry to build the Body-in-white of a car − Developed French automotive OEMs (PSA, Renault) as target customers for forming tools and assembly systems. Set up new team of 5 sales engineers in France dedicated to those key accounts generating >10 m EUR sales in the second year − Developed commercial vehicle OEMs (Renault Trucks in FR, Volvo in SE, MAN in DE, DAF in NL, etc.) as new target customer group for forming tools and assembly systems, generating >3 m EUR sales after the first year − Developed aerospace OEMs as new target customers (mainly Airbus) for assembly systems. Sold initial assembly system concept development with a team of 20 engineers for the new Airbus 350. Business developed into sales of 20-30 m EUR p.a.
