Encira is a start-up of Implenia (Specialities division) and comprises experts in building physics, acoustics, sustainability and energy. Shaping the future together. Since 2023, I’ve been working at Implenia, Switzerland’s largest construction group, helping to establish a new focus area in energy and climate protection. Our overarching goal is the decarbonisation of buildings—both in Switzerland and internationally. This involves not only improving energy efficiency within buildings but also rethinking how buildings are used and the energy systems that support them. Buildings are more than just structures—they’re places where we live, connect, and find meaning. I believe that “happy people do the least harm to the environment.” Research shows that happiness from consumption is limited; instead, it’s meaningful activities and social connections that truly fulfill us. At Implenia, I have the opportunity to bridge the gap between theory and practice. The company not only builds sustainable structures like ‘The Rocket’—a timber high-rise—but also has expertise in infrastructure and large-scale energy systems. My work focuses on developing integrated energy and climate strategies for buildings, sites, and municipalities. My strength lies in connecting disciplines and facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration. With a technical background, I support teams in translating concepts into practical solutions. My experience also allows me to take a broad, international perspective, having worked on energy strategies, emissions accounting, funding programs, and impactful climate initiatives—both within municipalities and in collaboration with local communities.
I am passionate about the places where people live and work, such as cities and municipalities, and their diverse tasks. As an environmental engineer with a practical technical background and additional training in project management, I am part of the ‘Energy in Communities’ team at intep. My specialties include energy concepts for municipalities, sites, and zero-emission buildings, as well as the implementation of energy strategies. In classic energy city topics, I provide content and service-oriented support, including energy balancing and planning, political programs, services for the population, and mobility concepts. As a consultant, I thrive on engaging and networking with interest groups, creating common climate goals, and examining topics from various perspectives. Es sind es die Wohn- und Lebensorte von Menschen (Städte und Gemeinden) und deren facettenreichen Aufgabenstellungen, für die mein Herz schlägt. Als Umweltingenieur mit einem praktisch technischen Hintergrund und Weiterbildungen u. a. im Projektmanagement bin ich Teil des Teams «Energie in Gemeinden» bei intep. Energiekonzepte (Kommunen, Areale und Nullemissionsgebäude) und die Umsetzung von Energiestrategien gehören zu seinen Schwerpunkten. In den klassischen Energiestadtthemen biete ich inhaltliche und dienstleistungsorientierte Hilfestellungen an (u. a. Energiebilanzierung und Planung, politische Programme, Dienstleistungen für die Bevölkerung, Mobilitätskonzepte). Interessensgruppen abzuholen und zu vernetzen, ein gemeinsames (Klima-) Ziel zu schaffen und ein Thema aus verschiedensten Blickwinkeln zu betrachten, dafür lebe ich in meiner Beratertätigkeit.

Energiestrategie, Beratung Politik und Verwaltung, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, Eventorganisation, Energiebilanzierung Gemeindegebiet und kommunale Liegenschaften/Fahrzeugflotte etc.
