This journey has included executive responsibility as Managing Director and COO in family-owned businesses as well as international industrial groups across manufacturing, technology and process industries. Throughout these roles, the focus has consistently been on connecting strategy with execution. Developing organisations, strengthening operational excellence, leading transformation, improving profitability and creating reliable structures for long-term success have been central responsibilities. Equally important has been building trust—with employees, shareholders, customers, authorities and business partners. My experience combines executive leadership with deep operational understanding across manufacturing, engineering, technology, supply chain, quality, sales, energy management and regulatory affairs, including long-standing responsibility for approval procedures under the German Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG). Rather than seeing industries as boundaries, I see common challenges: creating competitive manufacturing organisations, developing technology, improving operational performance and preparing businesses for sustainable future growth. This perspective has shaped my work across paper & packaging, machinery, technical textiles, specialty chemicals and other industrial environments.
