The Red Team Instructor is responsible for designing and delivering advanced offensive security training focused on real-world attack techniques, adversary simulation, and ethical hacking methodologies. This role bridges deep technical expertise with strong teaching and mentoring skills to develop highly capable red team operators. Key Responsibilities Deliver hands-on training in red teaming, penetration testing, and adversary simulation Teach offensive security topics such as network, web, cloud, and Active Directory attacks Design realistic attack scenarios, labs, and capture-the-flag (CTF) exercises Train students on tools, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by real attackers Stay up to date with the latest vulnerabilities, exploits, and threat actor techniques Mentor students and evaluate technical progress and skill development Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of training materials Required Skills & Experience Strong background in red teaming, penetration testing, or offensive security Deep understanding of Windows/Linux internals, networking, and Active Directory Experience with common red team tools (e.g. C2 frameworks, exploitation tools) Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and effectively Hands-on experience with real-world attack simulations Strong communication and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications Industry certifications (OSCP, OSEP, CRTO, CRTP, etc.) Previous experience as a trainer, instructor, or mentor Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) Knowledge of threat intelligence and MITRE ATT&CK framework
