I have over 20 years experience in the built environment industry. My experience is working for both private and government organisations. I have worked for consulting engineers for over five years mainly doing designs, site supervision for water and sewer, roads and storm-water, compiling tender documents, tender evaluation. In public sector, I was mainly involve in developing water & sewer network master plan, design and construction of water and sanitation network,advising on new developments, property development, facilities maintenance, managing consultants, road maintenance and project management, contract management, involved in both CAPEX and OPEX projects. Property Development within COJ with a development value of +/- 27 Billion and added Value of Developing Public Land, Facilitate the development of Council owned land to meet the city’s development goals, Investigate the possibility of developing land, with or without the involvement of developers, Creating high yielding property assets with a sustainable income stream, Feasibilities studies and Manage property development value chain. Managing and Mentoring 20 SMME contractors in a learnership programme for a period of 3 years which was declared by National Department of Public Works as number one country wide compared to all other municipalities that were implementing the same programme.
