• Built and compared video classification pipelines (supervised 3D CNN and zero-shot Gemini via Vertex AI) to detect EHS incidents in surveillance footage and generate structured OSHA-aligned reports, achieving ~0.93 binary F1 and high recall • Designed a two-stage architecture (binary detection gate followed by classification and report generation) optimized for low-frequency incident environments; conducted a 60+ configuration ablation study across model, prompt, and sampling strategies • Developed a cost model estimating $1M+ annual ROI and ~97% reduction in manual review effort; communicated findings to Google stakeholders through structured incident reports and project deliverables
• Assist faculty on 4-5 specialized projects each quarter including diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, student assistant databases, etc. • Welcome students, faculty, staff, and guests to answer questions about the college
• Create overall strategy + goals for 2nd largest club on Cal Poly’s campus • Provide club membership opportunities with over 250+ interested students and 100+ verified members • Lead strategy team of 4 including Directors of Member Analytics, Operations, and Co-Directors of DEI and Wellness • Coordinate all recruitment and onboarding for incoming board officers
• Co-facilitating, planning, and executing Entry Engagement: a 7-week program designed to help immerse young women in collegiate life at Cal Poly, the Orfalea College of Business, and the WIB community during Fall 2022. This is a mentorship program that focuses on guiding mentees' personal and professional goals through discussions, activities, and projects. • Instructing, organize, and implementing the Women's Business Leadership Academy (WBLA) as a 9-week program designed to enhance OCOB student success in college, careers, etc. as a selective cohort designed to fulfill BUS 206 (Career Readiness and Professionalism) credit during Winter 2023. • Recruit mentors and mentees through a competitive application and interview process; design coursework centered around the novel, "Dare to Lead", by Brene Brown; connect with and invite guest speakers to voice their journey in the professional world; and organize a corporate tour for students in WBLA to participate in.
• Elected as 1 of 30 students (enrollment: 3,000+ students) to join the college’s premier externally-facing student leadership group. • Act as the "external face" of Orfalea College of Business for all visiting prospective students, industry representatives, executives, and alumni through providing tours, etc. • Serving as liaison between external visitors, student body, and Orfalea College of Business staff.
• Implementing 2-3 survey & roundtable discussions and multiple Ambassador office hours per quarter to foster an inclusive environment for students at OCOB, create an outlet for direct feedback resulting in net positive growth for program, and be a resource to incoming and currents students
