- Member of the Deposition/Thermal Manufacturing Engineering Team - VTD CdTe Deposition process control, concentrating on enhancing the sustaining of the manufacturing activities - Experience with manufacturing systems such as FMEA, Control Plans, Statistical process control, and daily and weekly scorecards - Work with ME to assist with CdTe film measurement sustaining and improvement - Organization of reports, logs, and instructions for repairs, shipments, and calibrations
- Point defect studies using PAS on metal-alloys - Construction of a novel positron beamline for the characterization of point defects in materials - Assembly of ultra-high vacuum parts, setting up the vacuum equipment - Perform machining and building mechanical assemblies for beam mounting - Beam diagnostics and testing beam trajectory
- Experience in MOCVD wafer fabrication of semiconductor thin-film. - Material characterization using XRD, SEM, TEM, Luminescence spectroscopy, Electrical measurements - Understanding of Design of Experiments (DOE) - Proficiency in Data analysis using Python and JMP. Experience with Matlab and SQL. - Hands-on experience with assembly, maintenance, and operation of Ultra-high vacuum equipment - Manage multiple research projects focused on metal & metal alloys (Fe, Fe-Cr), high entropy alloys, metal oxides & semiconductors (TiO2, Ga2O3, Ce: YAG, SrTiO3, ZnO, Al2O3,) - Extensive experience in point defect studies of materials using positron annihilation spectroscopy, thermo-luminescence spectroscopy, radio-luminescence, SEM, and TEM. - Leadership experience in assisting several graduate and undergraduate students while managing laboratory equipment, purchasing & liaising with external suppliers and vendors, and maintained vendor documentation.
