With the goal of developping green silica aerogel, I participated in : - R&D Projects (Upcycling construction waste materials into silica aerogel) - Trials in pilot plant for scaling-up syntheses - Physical & chemical characterizations of silica aerogel powder produced on site
Ph.D. thesis at IS2M (Institute for Materials Science of Mulhouse, France), CNRS UMR 7361, supervised by Olivier Soppera. Topic: Synthesis and formulation of photosensitive inorganic resins (e.g. Titanium Oxides based resins) for nanostructuring thin films by Deep-UV photolithography. Achievements : - New approaches for the fabrication of mesoporous and functionalized materials - Better understanding of metal-oxide based structures obtained by wet chemistry - Design of biochemical and mechanical sensors - New industrial partnerships and funding, based on research results Characterization techniques used : XPS, XRD, SEM, Ellipsometry, Raman and FTIR spectroscopy...
Analysis of water based samples by GC-MS
Master's thesis: "Influence of grinding aids on concrete properties" - Study of various porous materials - Surface treatments procedure - Usage of analytical techniques (XRD, TGA, DSC...) - Understanding of fundamental hardening mechanisms in concrete materials
-Development of a characterisation method for evaluating a surface treatment; -Understanding of the rheological and mechanical properties of concrete in presence of additives.
