WeVoice is a New Jersey-based high-tech startup that specializes in the development and design of audio and acoustic signal processing technologies and systems for communication and consumer electronics. It was founded by a well-established former Bell Labs researcher, Dr. Yiteng (Arden) Huang, in 2007. Since incorporation, WeVoice has been funded by the US federal government's Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program with a number of contracts valued in excess of $2.5M in total to help NASA develop cutting-edge technologies. Successful stories include the development of a voice communication subsystem for next-generation spacesuits and the development of a ZigBee-based wireless sensor (microphone) network for automatic acoustic monitoring (A2M) on the International Space Station (ISS). Through these high-risk projects, WeVoice has accumulated a unique set of proprietary intellectual properties protected by an expanding portfolio of patents, copyrights, and trademarks. WeVoice's consulting services focus on the technical implementation of solutions for customers or licensing for use our NASA-validated space technologies in the following areas: * Embedded electronic systems (both FPGA and DSP based) * ZigBee-based wireless sensor network for noise monitoring and acoustic analysis * MEMS microphone arrays * Noise reduction and speech enhancement * Speech intelligibility tests (ANSI/ASA S3.2-2009) * Sound source localization * Echo cancellation * Digital wireless microphones for smartphone videography
