Western Financial Times (WFT) is Western University’s student-run financial organization, uniting students from all academic backgrounds with an interest in finance, economics, and the global business landscape. Inspired by leading publications such as the Wall Street Journal and Financial Times, WFT aims to promote financial literacy through high-quality, student-led analysis. WFT delivers accessible and professional financial content through newsletters, feature articles, and special reports covering financial markets, corporate earnings, government policy, and macroeconomic trends. In addition to publishing, WFT provides members with opportunities to participate in equity research initiatives, stock pitch competitions, guest speaker series, and professional development events, supporting students’ academic growth and future careers in finance.
