TRISTAN’S overarching aim was to expand, mature and industrialize the European RISC-V ecosystem so that it is able to compete with existing commercial alternatives. TRISTAN officially ended on June 30, 2026. We recommend following current EU-funded research projects Turandot and Rigoletto to see how the tools created under TRISTAN are evolving to advance European semiconductor technology.
