T.VDB is the multidisciplinary art, fashion and design practice of Belgian artist Tom Van der Borght, operating at the crossroads of fashion, visual arts and artistic research. The studio develops radical projects that question normative ideas of the body and identity, merging fashion collections, performances, installations, publications and collaborations. Since winning the Grand Prix du Jury and Public Award at the 35th International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories in Hyères (2020), Tom Van der Borght has presented work internationally at institutions and festivals such as Z33 Hasselt, Lille3000, Galerie Eric Dupont (Paris), Paris Photo and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin. Collaborations include projects with Mercedes-Benz, Hans Boodt Mannequins, David Byrne and Blanca Li. T.VDB positions itself as both an artistic and entrepreneurial platform, producing research-driven concepts such as Beyond the Body and 7 Non-Normative Bodies, while offering limited editions, commissions and publications. Its mission is to create meaningful collaborations across art, fashion and research, and to build inclusive futures that go beyond the body.
