The Crick is a distinctive biomedical research institute. Our ambition is to discover the biology underlying human health, improving the treatment, diagnosis and prevention of human disease and generate economic opportunities for the UK. We bring together outstanding scientists from all disciplines, carrying out research that will help improve the health and quality of people's lives, and keep the UK at the forefront of medical innovation. We are a community of 1500 scientists and support staff from more than 60 countries. We aim to help create future science leaders with a dynamic career structure that supports the development of world-class researchers. Our comprehensive training programmes allow students to develop their potential while contributing to the success of the institute. Our building is designed around collaboration, with plenty of places to bump into colleagues for quick chats or more formal meetings.
