TALPA is building the healthcare system for infrastructure. Mandatory inspections already happen. They collect insufficient data. We are changing that. TALPA is rebuilding the data layer for the world's reinforced concrete infrastructure — bridges, dams, tunnels, ports, parking structures. The problem. Corrosion of embedded steel causes over 70% of structural damage in reinforced concrete. It is invisible at the surface for 5–10 years before any visible defect appears. By the time it shows, repair costs have multiplied 10×. Mandatory visual inspections happen on schedule worldwide — they detect the surface, not the cause beneath it. The solution. Our patented contactless electrochemical sensor mounts on off-the-shelf drones and captures subsurface corrosion data across the entire structure — collected in the same field campaign as the visual inspection. Data flows into a cloud platform that builds 4D digital twins of every asset: corrosion mapped, tracked over time, with predictive maintenance built in. The team. ETH Zürich spin-off founded by PhD-level corrosion scientists with 20+ years of combined specialisation. Two patents on exclusive licence from ETH. We didn't commercialise someone else's research — we invented it. Sectors: civil infrastructure · hydropower · nuclear · mining · ports
