Studio Diane Giraud is a Lisbon-based Art Lab moving across installations, performances, participatory situations, and conversations, exploring memory, language, and presence through process-driven experimentation. Studio Diane Giraud has collaborated with organizations including Culturgest, Carpintarias de São Lázaro, PADA Studios, the National Museum of Natural History and Science, with support from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Portuguese Ministry of Culture. About Diane Giraud Diane is a French visual artist of Vietnamese and Greek descent whose work explores how memory and language shape perception, agency, and experience. Originally from Paris, she lived in London for over ten years before unexpectedly settling in Lisbon, where she has been based since 2015. Trained in law (Université Paris X Nanterre) and fashion design (University of the Arts London), with early experience at Alexander McQueen, she bridges conceptual inquiry and material precision. She is the founder of In Limen, a platform for participatory performance and research. Her practice spans sculpture, sound, text, performance, and process-driven explorations, rooted in making, dialogue, and reflection.
