Silox group manufactures specialty chemicals for various markets (e.g. paints & coatings, polymers, textiles, rubbers, pharmaceuticals, personal care, catalysts) on three continents and generates sales in excess of 450 million Euros each year with a workforce of more than 2000 employees spread over 10 different manufacturing sites. The group is organized around 3 pillars: (1) zinc & sulfur chemicals, (2) anticorrosion pigments, and (3) trading & refining of complex non-ferrous metal-bearing residues, by-products and secondary raw materials. Silox is an important player of the circular economy of non-ferrous metals and pays great attention to lowering its overall impact on environment. Silox is also a producer of green/carbon-free energy. Over the past few years, the Silox group has greatly diversified its activities through various acquisitions and stakes in other companies.
