The Siempelkamp Foundry in Krefeld specialises in the production of hand-formed large castings of up to 320 tonnes made of cast iron with nodular graphite. With a casting quantity of 50,000 tonnes per year and 375 employees, it is one of the largest hand-forming foundries in the world. We are the benchmark in Germany and Europe. The comprehensive and customer-oriented service package includes the entire production process from design, calculations, pattern making, moulding and casting to mechanical processing, packaging and transport. Thanks to excellent metallurgical know-how, constant research and development, with personal commitment to every project and a passion for our craft, we produce large and heavy castings for greater performance, higher safety and future viability. We manufacture our elementary components made of nodular cast iron primarily for customers in the energy conversion, raw material processing, press construction and mechanical engineering industries. Only we have the technology in Europe to produce suitable components on such a scale.
