Established in 2012, Saint-Gobain Research India (SGR India) stands as a beacon among the eight cross-functional research and development centres within the distinguished Saint-Gobain Group. Situated within the IIT Madras Research Park in Chennai, this meticulously crafted 120,000 square feet R&D Centre represents a substantial investment of approximately Rs.150 crores. Its strategic location, in close proximity to the prestigious IIT Madras, places the centre at the nexus of a unique and dynamic ecosystem, fostering collaborative innovation with academia and start-up entities. SGR India made noteworthy milestones of filing an impressive 260+ patents since inception with over 200+ products, systems, and services for the India business.
