About

Dorina Poenaru (or Tudorita under her official name) is one of the founders of RCCT Romanian Hub for the Romanian community from NW London in 2018. In 2020, Dorina was joined by Olimpia Erdogan and Sebastian Orel and registered the Community Interest Company (CIC). This continuous project started as the Romanian Hub long before it was established in 2018. RCCT is proud to be the initial Romanian Hub working in the interest of the Romanian community in London. It is an active and proactive organisation working in the local community’s interest. RCCT became a Community Centre in May 2025, having a permanent address in Harrow and operating 5 days a week. Formerly known to have activated in Burnt Oak, Edgware, Greater London, at the border of three boroughs, Barnet, Brent and Harrow, RCCT continues to support the Romanian nationals and the vulnerable in the community. RCCT extends not just to the Romanian community but to other diverse minority communities through the Food Hub, Warm Hub and other projects. Special services are provided to the Romanian community helping them transition from Romania to the UK, easily accessing and navigating the UK system and ensuring that they understand their 🇷🇴🇬🇧rights, responsibilities and obligations as UK 🇬🇧 residents and Romanian citizens.
