PWI Norway was established in 2014 with the main intention to contribute with an interdisciplinary support towards the offshore industry and organisations operating in a dynamic and demanding environment. After more than 20 years of offshore experience from well system design, field installation, commissioning and verification testing of well control & production systems, the learning curve has been tremendous. During the past 5 years of my carrier, the operational support towards offshore facilities has increased significant. From minor completion issues to major well control equipment design deviations many challenges have been solved. With the ageing off offshore production installations in operation, extended life cycles of these facilities, demanding drilling operations in ultra deep water, serious near misses and accidents in this industry, I felt that the time is right to transfer gained experience towards an accident preventive approach rather than being further involved in Root Cause Investigations. Asset Integrity, personnel safety and the environment are the main drivers for my passion. The https://www.pwi.no website is currently under construction and will be online from July 2015.
