Plate and Pathways is a community-rooted nonprofit dedicated to uplifting families in Rogers Park and surrounding neighborhoods through food support, wellness education, and empowerment programs. We believe that every individual deserves access to nutritious meals, stable resources, and safe, welcoming spaces that foster growth. Our work centers on reducing food insecurity, supporting unhoused community members, and creating pathways toward long-term stability. Our core programs include: Food Distribution & Community Meals – Providing fresh, healthy groceries and warm meals to families in need. Plate to Purpose Workshops – Nutrition and life-skills education designed to support community wellness and self-sufficiency. Seasonal Support Events – Including our annual Winter Wrap-Up, where we give away coats, winter gear, food, and essentials to hundreds of families. Plate and Pathways Community Center (future) – A coming home-base for our programming, offering meals, classes, family resources, and a safe community space. We partner with local businesses, schools, community leaders, and neighbors who share our belief that strong communities are built through compassion, access, and opportunity. Together, we are nourishing families and creating pathways to a stronger tomorrow.
