NVIDIA opened its first office in Europe 20 years ago, with about 10 employees in Wurselen, Germany. Now, we have more than 3,500 employees across 16 EMEA countries. Our teams are solving some of the world’s hardest problems and seeking new ways to improve the quality of life for people everywhere. In Europe we have engineering teams who focus on industries such as AI, AV, Data Center, Graphics, Healthcare, HPC, Networking, Robotics, Gaming and more. Using NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Fraunhofer IML’s latest research strives to develop and validate autonomous mobile robots in simulation by closing the sim-to-real gap. The researchers rely on Isaac Sim for virtual development of its highly dynamic autonomous mobile robot by exercising the robot in photorealistic, physically accurate 3D worlds.
