Next-Gen Rocketry is a student-led STEM education initiative dedicated to empowering the next generation of engineers through hands-on aerospace learning. We provide free rocketry workshops that help students build, test, and launch their own rockets while learning the fundamentals of physics, engineering, and problem-solving. Our mission is to expand access to high-quality STEM education for students in underserved communities across New York City. By bringing engaging, hands-on engineering experiences directly to schools and community centers, we aim to make aerospace accessible to every child, regardless of background or resources. Since launching, Next-Gen Rocketry has taught over 1000 elementary students through interactive workshops that spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence. We believe that early exposure to engineering not only ignites passion, but opens doors. Our vision is to grow into a citywide and eventually nationwide program that inspires thousands of future scientists, engineers, and innovators.
