In 2012, we were involved in a project with the Municipality of Bergen. The aim of the project was to motivate seniors and people with dementia to become more physically active. The results from the project were so good that we wanted to start up a company that would be able to offer the concept in all the Nordic countries. Motitech AS was consequently established in October 2013. Today we help institutions and day-centres in Europe and North-America to provide increased exercise opportunities for seniors wiht help of Motiview. Motiview is a motivational tool that stimulates older people and people with dementia to increase their physical activity. Thanks to moving pictures and sound, the user can take a cycle trip through familiar surroundings and childhood memories. The system is easy in use. It consists of a display unit that shows motivating videos, combined with a user-adapted exercise bike. We are passionate about seniors and people with dementia having increased quality of life and better physical health.
