Medical Research Forum – JMDC Where Curiosity meets Clinical Insight – Fostering Medical Research at JMDC Medical Research Forum (MRF) is a student-led research society at Jinnah Medical & Dental College, working under the supervision of Dr. Atif Mahmood, Principal JMDC. We are dedicated to cultivating a culture of critical inquiry, scientific exploration, and innovation in healthcare. Our mission is to bridge the gap in research training, mentorship, and opportunities for students across MBBS and other healthcare-related programs—empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals to become leaders in global health sciences. We strive to: Provide hands-on workshops and training sessions in core research methodology, data analysis, and academic writing Offer structured mentorship to guide students through research planning, execution, and publication Foster critical thinking and evidence-based practice among future clinicians and researchers Build a collaborative academic environment that connects students with faculty, researchers, and industry experts Though newly formed, MRF is backed by an experienced executive council with a proven track record in research and publication.
