The Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics is a forefront research organizations in the fields of quantum science, photonics, laser physics and precision experiments, with light-matter interaction at its core. In five different lines of research, physicists from all corners of the world are working together on constantly pushing the limits of what is known about the fundamentals of nature.
