It all began 1999 with an idea. The idea to produce fashion garments under fair conditions, to create beautiful items and to feel good about doing it. This has continued to be our vision up to the present day, and for the last 25 years we have been combining premium quality materials with sophisticated design. We are continuously evolving from season to season because we embrace sustainability as a holistic process. We never use any chemicals that could be harmful to health, we primarily procure our materials from organic farmers, we use eco-friendly transportation concepts and we compensate all the CO2 we produce. LANIUS is a Cologne-based family-run business. Claudia Lanius is the founder and designer of the LANIUS label, as well as a German sustainable fashion pioneer. Together with her daughter, Annabelle Homann, they develop motivating visions for the company’s future.
