Innovation Catalyst builds on the legacy of the Digital Health Nation Innovation Booster (2022–2025), applying the same open innovation and co-creation principles to a new generation of healthcare challenges. Our mission is to empower ideas that deliver tangible value to patients, clinicians and the healthcare system. By providing mentorship and a collaborative ecosystem, we support innovators in turning bold concepts into ready-to-implement solutions. In spring 2026, we’ll launch a new Open Innovation Challenge in partnership with University Hospital Basel and Personalized Health Basel focused on co-developing interoperable, openEHR-based digital health solutions that streamline clinical workflows, elevate data quality, and improve patient outcomes.
