Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH is one of the leading quarto plate mills in Europe. We provide our customers worldwide with more than 350 steel grades and analysis for various types of application. Our special expertise lies in producing high-strength, wear-resistant heavy plate for the construction industry and safety steel for civil and military demands. This work is carried out in our modern heat treatment line. Further typical branches include steel construction, yellow goods and machinery, shipbuilding, onshore and offshore wind industry, pipelines and tankage facilities. We offer solutions for a wide range of project requirements in heavy plate thicknesses between 5 and 175 mm, even in comparatively small batch sizes. Through our close collaboration with various subsidiaries of the Salzgitter group, e.g. Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH, Salzgitter Mannesmann Grobblech Gmbh, Salzgitter Mannesmann Handel GmbH and Salzgitter Mannesmann Forschung GmbH, we are able to respond quickly and specifically to the individual wishes of our customers.
