Our team includes both Arabic and English speaking lawyers, as well as bilingual attorneys. Unlike many Dubai law firms, our lawyers include UAE Advocates, who are entitled to appear before Courts at all levels of the UAE judicial system, including Federal Courts, Courts of Appeal and Courts of Cassation. All other senior attorneys are admitted as legal consultants in Dubai. Several of our senior attorneys are also admitted in other jurisdictions, including the UK (England and Wales) and Egypt. We act across the full range of matters. In litigation, our practice involves both civil law (including commercial law, construction law, and property law) and criminal law cases. In arbitration, we have a particular focus on construction, infrastructure, and power disputes. Our lawyers have also acted in energy, post-M&A, general commercial, financial, shipping, insurance, and investment treaty disputes. We handle arbitration proceedings, in both Arabic and English, under all the major institutional and ad hoc arbitration rules, including the DIAC, DIFC-LCIA, ADCCAC, ICC, UNCITRAL and ICSID rules. We also act in DAB and DRB proceedings, expert determinations, mediations, and in connection with internal investigations. As a bi-lingual practice, which conducts both local Court matters and international arbitration, we handle both substantive arbitration proceedings and arbitration annulment and enforcement actions – which require local litigation expertise – under one roof. This distinguishes us from several international law firms based in Dubai who act as arbitration counsel but out-source enforcement and other litigation matters.
